Do you enjoy making your own products? Come sit with us at House of Art and Craft. Learn the basics of melt-and-pour-soap-making and get a chance to make your own to take home.
You'll Get To:
- Customize your own soap.
- Choose your desired scent and color.
- Choose your mold - Shape round, square, or oblong.
- Kids get to work with animal shape silicone molds.
- Work with high-quality, all-natural soap base.
You Will Take Home:
- 4 OR 6 large bar soaps (depending on your mold).
- You'll leave with the knowledge of how to make melt-and-pour soaps.
This class is suitable for those who have never made soap before therefore is perfect for absolute beginners.
*Recommended for 8 years and over. Please note this class is not suitable for young children under the age of 8, there are hot liquids involved. Please do not bring your infant to this class.
Fun Fact:
Dried botanicals are known for their versatile abilities like absorbing skin impurities, reducing anxiety, and hydrating skin. You will learn which ones are appropriate to add to your creation and why.
Meet your Instructor
House of Art and Craft, owner Steysy, is excited to be a part of a new community in the city of Boston. Join her and sit through many of her small group activities such as candle, soap, beard oil-making workshops, and more. Workshops that will keep your creativity going, during a fun evening. We love sharing our craft with others, an experience you don’t want to miss. Your workshop includes everything a beginner or a pro will need to create a beautiful handmade scented product, as well as plenty of time to ask questions to your instructor.

- Arrival & Location: 524 Western Ave Brighton, MA 02135
- Please arrive 10 minutes early.
- If you are going to be late, please call the shop at 617-733-2909.
- If you or any members of your group are going to be over 15 minutes late, please reschedule for a later date so the other class participants experience is not disrupted.
- Free parking is available, but limited space. Free street parking.

Age Requirement: Workshops are for ages 8 and older. All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Duration: Workshops are typically 1.5 -2 hours.

Class Attendee Perks: All workshop attendees receive 10% off in-store purchases!
- **Cancellations: Must provide 48-hour notice** If cancellation is prior to 48 hours (2 days) before class date/time, it will be rescheduled for a different date. Please provide updated date you would like to attend when canceling your class. If a guest needs to cancel within 24 hours (1 day) of their booked class or does not make it to their class, a refund will not be issued.
