Workshops Information & Booking Policy

Our workshops—at our primary store—a space that offers a unique experience. At the House of Art and Craft we invite you and your guest to immerse in a sensory journey, a journey to awaken your senses and create lasting memories while selecting a scent and crafting your on bespoke story.

Yes — we offer a large variety of fragrances for guests to choose from for their candles. Our oils are FDA approved, cruelty free, and skin safe. If you’d like your candle to not have any fragrance, that’s okay too! It’s your creation!

All sales are final. If you do not contact us 24 hours before the event via email ( info@houseofartandcraft.com) or via phone (617- 733-2909), you are no longer eligible to transfer your ticket to another date and time.

We do not offer refunds on your ticket, however, we will gladly transfer your ticket to another class within 60 days, as a one time courtesy, as long as you contact us 48 hours before the event via email (info@houseofartandcraft.com). 

Severe Weather: Classes canceled due to severe weather will be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, we offer a store credit for the full ticket value.

Workshop details:

Up-to 2 hours of candle, perfume or soap making. All materials included and to take home. Complementary wine, soft drink or water is offered. 

We do not offer refunds on private workshops reservation, however, we will gladly transfer your event to another date/time within 60 days, as a one time courtesy, as long as you contact us 48 hours before the event via email (info@houseofartandcraft.com). 

Severe Weather: Classes canceled due to severe weather will be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, we offer a store credit for the full ticket value.

Workshop details:

  •  All Materials: needed during the class, plus your very own candle to take home afterward. During the workshop, you will get to pick your fragrance and your vessel, and then the instructor will guide you step by step on how to make your candle!
  • Our 2 hours hands-on workshops are perfect to Create-Connect-Inspire.
  • Complementary: Enjoy a glass of  wine,  soft drinks or water on the house. Outside Food Allowed: We'll be glad to provide the glassware.
  • Discounts: Enjoy browsing our retail space prior or after your candle making workshop, with 15% off to shop the entire store on the day of  your workshop!
  • Pick Up: Your candle will be ready to pick in two business days. If you prefer your final product to be ship. Please let us know before the class is over. $13 flat rate fee.
  • Who can attend: Anyone age 10 and older.
  • Additional guest fee: Add up to 5 last minute guests to you reservation for a additional fee of $95 per person.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required to reserve.

  • Choice from candle or perfuming making for all guests in attendance.
  • Choose your preferred group size of 10, 15 or 20 guests.
  • To host your private party - workshop, you'll need a minimum of 10 people to attend. Our workshop studio can accommodate  up to 25 guest comfortably.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required with the flexibility to change the date.
  • 4 hour-event. This include an additional 1 hour to set up and 1 hour for breakdown, for a total of 6 hours. Cleaning fee included in pricing.
  • Google Music and speaker will be provided. Free WIFI

Workshop details: 

Our corporate (OnSite) workshops, can include candle pouring or perfume making (pricing varies).

  • Choose your preferred group settings 10, 15 up to 20 guest.
  • To host a corporate candle workshop, you'll need a minimum of 10 people to attend. Our workshop studio can hold up to 25 people pouring comfortably. 
  • Our corporate workshops are available every Monday through Friday, offering convenient 2 to 4 hours sessions.
  • All materials needed during the class and instructions step by step on how to make your choice of candle or perfume.
  • Complementary on us is your glass of wine, water or soft drinks. Outside food is allowed.
  • Discounts: Enjoy browsing our retail space prior or after your candle making workshop, with 15% off to shop the entire store on the day of  your workshop!
  • Pick Up: Your candle will be ready to pick in two business days. If you prefer your final product to be ship. Please let us know before the class is over. $13 flat rate fee.

  • A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve.

We do have walk-in No Reservation Needed. However we strongly recommend  booking in advance as our classes can book up quickly! Online tickets directly from our website, via eventbrite, or book in-person at our store for a public class time. 

Your wine and soft drinks are complimentary to the workshops. Do to limited space on the table and not enough time in class, we do not allow food during the experience. The only exception would be if you book a Private, Party or Corporate workshop.

Space Rules:

No smoking, No candle burning, No cooking of any food on the premise, No DJs/speakers of your own.

Yes. Currently we are booking OffSite  workshops ONLY for our candle pouring experience. We ask for a minimum of 15 people to travel. We offer group discounts for 20 people or more.Please be aware that booking offsite workshops will incur an additional staff and travel fees. This will be discussed at time of booking confirmation.
