What are the workshop hours and location?

We are thrilled to now be leading public and private candle making  workshops all through the year! Workshops will take place inside our storefront located at The Charles River Speedway, 525 Western Ave Brighton MA 02135 Unit 4E. Wednesday 7pm - 9:30pm , Thursday 6:30pm - 9pm , Friday 6:30pm - 9pm and Saturdays 3pm - 5pm. Looking to host a weekend group! connect with us via email or via our contact us form. What is the cancellation policy? 

We offer guests full refunds for cancellations made at least 48 hours ( 2 days) before their scheduled workshop. If a guest needs to cancel within 24 hours (1 day) of their booked class or does not make it to their class, a refund will not be issued. Guests are allowed to reschedule their reservations one time if needed.

What exactly are the candles made of? 

Our candles are made with soy wax blend (soy/coconut) and phthalate free fragrance oils.

Do the candles have fragrance? Can I make mine without fragrance? 

Yes — we offer a large variety of fragrances for guests to choose from for their candles. Our oils are FDA approved, cruelty free, and skin safe. If you’d like your candle to not have any fragrance, that’s okay too! It’s your creation! 

How much is a class and what’s included? 

The class is $80 per person. Complementary WINE. All the materials needed for the class, the vessel and fragrance of your choice, a step-by-step class on how to make your candle. Your finish product will be a lovely 12oz scented candle.

How big are the classes and how long do they last? 

Class sizes often vary depending on how many spots are booked. They can be as large as 10 or (10+ Only via email request) people or as small as 1 person. The class lasts about 2.5 hours, and the candles take another 45 minutes to set enough, and will not be ready to take home by the end of the class. Guests are more than welcome to wait those 45 minutes for their candles by visiting any of our food/beer vendors, within The Speedway or surrounding area. We hold your candles for up to 1 week or can be shipped to your home for a fee of $13. Please make sure to check out our  store hours prior to coming to pickup your candle.

Can I refill my candle from a past visit? 

Yes -  We love the idea of recycling our vessels. Come back and bring your vessel from a previous class. We will refill the candle for you — with any fragrance of your choosing — for $28. Lead time to pick 2 weeks from drop off day. 

Do I need a reservation or can I just walk in? 

You can book online via eventbrite, or book in-person at our store. We recommend booking in advance as our classes can book up quickly! 

Can I bring food and drinks to the workshop?

Your wine and soft drinks are complimentary to the workshops. Do to limited space on the table and not enough time in class, we do not allow food during the experience. The only exception would be if you book a private event, lite snacks can be brought in and eaten while the candles are cooling and drying. Or of course your birthday celebration cake.

Is there a minimum or maximum class size? 

Classes are typically between 1-10 people, depending on how many bookings that day. There is no minimum requirement for public booking. However, for your private event a minimum of 6 people is required to reserve. 

Can you host the workshop off site? 

Yes- Please note rate varies and a minimum of 15 people is required to book.  For private or corporate event inquiries, email 

How big are the candles? 

Our candles are two-wick candles and hold about 12 ounces of wax. They have around 72 hours of burn time. 

Is this experience good for kids? 

For everyone’s safety, we recommend ages 10 and older for our workshops. Because we will be handling hot wax, all participants under the age will not be allowed to attend the workshop.
