Workshop details:

Up-to 2 hours of candle, perfume or soap making. All materials included and to take home. Complementary wine, soft drink or water is offered.

Our candles are all hand-poured, wicked, labeled and batched in small quantities. Because we care about the environment, you and your love ones, we use natural soy wax blends as well as phthalate-free fragrance and essential oils. Our wooden wicks and lead free cotton wicks are carefully picked to allow your  candles to burn and last longer.

  • Trim the wick to ¼” before lighting every time, will allow  your candle to perform much better during each burn! This makes all the difference in the longevity and clean burning of your candle. A long wick burns much too hot and will both use up the candle more quickly and create soot.
  • Burn your candle for up to 3-4 hours at a time.  It’s very important that the first time you use the candle to burn it long enough for the melted wax to reach the edges of the container.  This prevents the wax from building up and possibly tunneling during future use.
  • Never leave a candle burning unattended or within reach of a draft, pets, or small children.
  • If the flame seems high or the container is too hot in the midst of burning, simply extinguish the flame, let it cool down, trim the wick and restart!

Reed diffusers are perfect for decor, and fits well in small or large spaces, without the flame of a burning candle. At House of Art and Craft, we hand-pour and label our diffusers in the smallest batches to ensure product quality. In addition we use phthalate-free ( non- toxic), VOC compliant diffuser base, fragrances and essential oil blends so you can be confident that your reed diffusers meet indoor air quality regulations.

Your wine and soft drinks are complimentary to the workshops. Do to limited space on the table and not enough time in class, we do not allow food during the experience. The only exception would be if you book a Private, Party or Corporate workshop.
